Three Roads To One Hero Throughout the 2 epics, Beowulf, and Gilgamesh, and the novel Grendel, we hitch certain heroic characteristics of the main characters. Although Beowulf, Grendel, and Gilgamesh both in all come to a heroic end, they disaccord in itinerary in which they came to that end.
